Modern Studies
What is Modern Studies?
Modern Studies, unique to the Scottish curriculum, is the study of social, political and economic issues in the UK and around the world. In Portree High School, together with Geography and History, Modern Studies is provided by the Faculty of Social Subjects at every stage from S1 to S6.
