Pupil Support
All our students are placed in a house when they first start high school. Each student is supported through their House Tutor, who they meet with weekly in Tutor Time and by their Pupil Support Teacher.
There are three different Houses at Portree High School:
- Glamaig Miss K MacPhee
- Marsco Mr N Burrows
- Tianavaig Mrs D MacLeod
Mr A Breen is the Head of House for Tianavaig.
Mrs MacLennan is the Head of House for Marsco.
Miss MacNab is the Head of House for Glamaig.
The Support Staff work with a number of outside agencies to provide support to students. There is a counselling service provided in the school by Counselling Care: Skye and Lochalsh and open to all pupils. Please see attachments for further information.
